Guitar Note Coach

This tool is intended to facilitate learning the notes on a guitar or other musical instrument.

Select the notes that you wish to practice, then select START.

The tool will announce random note names from the notes that are selected.

Repeat the note name outloud and then play the note on the guitar.

You can adjust the interval between each note and the duration of the exercise using the controls below.
